Nancy Weisbrod

Join Us in Honouring Nancy Weisbrod with the Tots Kitchen Renovation (Shhh… It’s a Surprise!)

We are excited to share that the Village Shul Tots Kitchen is undergoing a meaningful renovation, honouring Nancy Weisbrod, who has been the heart and soul of nourishing our Village Shul community since its inception.

A few years ago, the talented and devoted Nancy Weisbrod, a chef, sparked a beautiful initiative that has since become a cherished tradition in our community. Inspired by the warmth, generosity, and lasting legacy of the beloved Rebbetzin Faigy Hoch — Faigy Rochel bas Pinchas Aryeh A”H — Nancy launched the Helping Hand project, inviting women to cook Shabbat dinners at the shul, in her honour.

But Nancy’s golden heart didn’t stop there. She continues to volunteer tirelessly at The Village Shul, always putting the needs of the shul first. Nancy is a constant presence—whether she’s busy cooking and baking during the week or supervising and guiding the kitchen staff on Shabbos. Her passion, warmth, and commitment uplift our entire community.

For years, Nancy has poured her heart into creating a warm, welcoming space where kehilla (community), acts of chessed (kindness), and the warmth of shared meals come together. Her dedication to preparing countless Shabbos meals, Kiddushim, and special events has touched every corner and member of our community.

Now, we have the opportunity to honour Nancy by ensuring the renovated kitchen continues to serve our youngest members—the next generation—for years to come. This renovation is more than an update; it is a celebration of Nancy’s lifelong commitment to the Village Shul.

Your support will help create a space where families can continue to connect, children can continue to learn, and Nancy’s vision of community and chessed will continue to flourish.

Together, we can honour Nancy by building a kitchen that reflects the heart she has given to all of us.

To participate or learn more about dedication opportunities, please contact Cindy at cbenedek@villageshul.com.

Thank you for helping us honour Nancy, strengthen the future of our Village Shul community, and keep this beautiful surprise until we can celebrate it together.

We truly appreciate your partnership in helping us reach this goal.
Thank you!
